      As a Network Security Consultant (pre- and post-sales, support, etc.) and Engineer, I did work with a wide range of clients in government agencies/organisations (including Czech air traffic control, army and ministries), enterprise and telco.

      I helped small companies and individuals with various IT challenges, including networking, security, administration of OS and applications. I was also involved in multiple projects that made the Internet affordable and available in small cities and villages in the central Slovakian region.

      Some of the projects I worked on

      • South Dublin County Council: Re-designed the customer’s security infrastructure and implemented a new network one. The solution allows the customer to inspect traffic for malware, phishing, ransomware, and other security threats; enables specific access for staff based on LDAP/AD group-membership. Both, the security and network infrastructure, are part of an SDSN group which provides dynamic detection of security threats or breaches, and automatically disconnects suspicious hosts from the network on the switch-port level.
      • NUI Galway: Designed and implemented Pulse Secure SSL VPN solution for staff, students, and 3rd parties based solely on HTML/HTML5 technology. The solution enables remote access to shared resources (e.g., SSH, RDP, shared-disks). The configuration is based on dynamic profiles utilizing LDAP attributes, and access to different resources is managed by help-desk team by simple changes in user-attributes or group-membership.
      • Irish Prison Service: Implemented a dynamic feed solution into the current Juniper infrastructure. The solution automates updates and blocking of ATP, DDoS, ransomware, and other threats.
      • NUI Galway: Re-designed and migrated the security infrastructure to SRX5k platform utilizing various UTM features and a custom automation solution for enforcing the Internet Watch Foundation feeds.
      • Air Traffic Control Czech Republic: Migrated the internal and external security infrastructure to Juniper SRX 5k and the new SRX3xx platforms.
      • PwC: Migrated global data-centers to PaloAlto Networks NGFW.
      • Vodafone Czech Republic: Migration Gi-FW and LTE gateways to the Juniper SRX 5k platform (later accepted as global standard).
      • Air Traffic Control Czech Republic: Designed and deployed a new solution for securing internal networks, remote access and inter-connection with international ATC authorities.
      • Vodafone Czech Republic: Re-designed and migrated Gi-FW to Juniper SRX 3k platform.
      • Volkswagen Group: Designed and deployed a worldwide VPN solution for dealers, importers and contractors.
